Fractionated Laser Resurfacing

Fractionated laser is a non-ablative skin rejuvenation treatment designed to minimise scarring (in particular post-acne scarring), wrinkles and general sun damage. This treatment provides optimum results when completed as a course of three, monthly sessions. There are three types of fractionated laser resurfacing available at Aspire;

Also known as the ‘Baby Fraxel®’, the Clear and Brilliant® is a slightly milder form of non-ablative resurfacing than Fraxel®, therefore downtime is minimal.

The Clear and Brilliant® is suitable for sun damage, pigmentation, fine wrinkles and post-acne scarring.

Optimal results are usually achieved in three to six monthly sessions.

The Fraxel® is the original non-ablative fractionated resurfacing system that utilises two wavelengths to treat pigmentation, refine the upper skin layers and build collagen and elastin in the lower skin layers.

The Fraxel® is suitable for sun damage, pigmentation, fine wrinkles and post-acne scarring.

Although results can be seen after the first treatment, the Fraxel® achieves optimal results in two to three sessions performed at six-week intervals.

Fraxel is only available at our Perth location.

The ResurfX® by Lumenis is state-of-the-art technology for non-ablative laser resurfacing. It effectively reduces pigmentation, refines the upper skin layers and builds collagen and elastin in the lower skin layers.

The ResurfX® is suitable for sun damage, pigmentation, fine wrinkles and post-acne scarring.

Although results can be seen after the first treatment, the ResurfX® achieves optimal results in two to four sessions performed at six-week intervals.
